Founded in 2004 by David Barclay and Ash Boyle,
Lochhaven Celtic pipes creates unique, custom
bagpipes. Piper Maker, Ash Boyle, hand crafts
each set of pipes from Blackwood, Ebony or
Cocobolo. All mounts are custom made utilizing
both metal and wood.

History
Under the instruction of Dave Barclay, Ash learned
to play the pipes in 2003. This soon developed
into a partnership to craft quality bagpipes with a
deep base and classic sound.

Lochhaven Celtic Pipes is proud to be associated with the Utah Pipe band and the
Barclay family. The UPB was formed in 1937 by Robert. S Barclay and is still under
the direction of the Barclay family. The UPB is the oldest, continuously organized
pipe band in the Western United States. The band competes in major pipe band
